Rising Stars is a portfolio competition that recognizes emerging talent in the Canadian creative community.

Who We Award

Rising Stars is open to creative professionals working in Canada as an Art Director, Copywriter, Graphic Designer, or as an Advertising Team..

Entrants must be age 30 or under, or within the first 5 years of their professional careers.

What You Win

A special purple ‘A’ statue
Promotion on the ADCC’s social channels
Two complimentary tickets to the 2025 ADCC Awards show in Toronto
One complimentary copy of the 2025 ADCC Awards Annual
ADCC membership for one year
A 30-minute one-on-one meeting with a top Canadian creative director

Eligibility

Entrants must be working in Canada and must be 30 years old or under on April 15, 2025 (the day the competition launches), or within the first 5 years of their professional careers.

Proof of age and professional experience will be required.

Judging

We will be naming 2 Rising Stars winners:

1 winner working in Advertising
1 winner working in Design

Judges may also select a number of finalists. Finalists will receive complimentary tickets to the ADCC Awards Show.

There will be two juries – one for Advertising, one for Design – composed of senior Canadian creative professionals.
